A Magnet-designated hospital since 2007, it provides high-level, patient-focused medical care. The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is the only medical facility in Pennsylvania to be accredited as a Level 1 trauma center for both children and adults. Hershey Medical Center shares its Hershey campus with Penn State Children’s Hospital, Penn State Cancer Institute and Penn State College of Medicine.

Our cardiac device specialist is r esponsible for providing allied professional care, coordination and support of patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) in the hospital, device clinics, and remote monitor setting.  This includes safe and thorough evaluation, testing, interpretation and reprogramming of patients with pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable cardiac monitors according to standard protocols.
