Job Description

HCA West Florida is seeking Cardiovascular Technicians to join their growing team. We have openings at multiple facilities across the greater Tampa Bay area with a variety of shift opportunities available, including days and nights.

Position Summary: The Cardiovascular Technician holds shift accountability to provide direct care to patients in accordance with the established Cath Lab policies and procedures. Candidate will also maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff. This individual will establish, implement, evaluate and revise the Plan of Care as appropriate, based upon continuous assessment and interpretation of biological, psychosocial and environmental data in order to meet the identified patient care needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates accuracy in documentation of all treatments, medications, IV therapies, and blood products. They will utilize a collaborative and interdisciplinary process to provide appropriate patient/family education, based on the plan of care.

Job Requirement


  • AHA BLS & ACLS certification required
  • RCIS certification preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a cardiac cath lab required
  • AART, RRT, EMT or paramedic candidates will be considered if they possess a minimum of one (1) year cath lab experience
  • Interventional experience preferred
