Job Description

Performs and reviews baseline patient assessments, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures. Provides procedure set-up and scrub assistance to physician during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures. Accurately and efficiently monitors, interprets, collects and records patient data. Provides patient care as directed by a qualified physician. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology preferred.
  2. Three years of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred.
  3. Completion of Electrophysiology intern program of a minimum of 6 months or one year Electrophysiology technologist experience required.
  4. Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred.
  5. BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KMC BLS within 60 days of hire.
