Grady is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Leader and has several openings for Registered Nurses with lab experience to help us manage the explosive growth of our cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and endovascular programs.

CARDIAC CATH LAB LEADER/MANAGER who is responsible for managing the 24/7 essential functions of the Correll Cardiac Center’s cath lab including:

  • Manages, plans, and evaluates department activities to ensure high quality patient care.
  • Develops goals, policies, and procedures; prepares and submits operating and capital budgets; participates in multidisciplinary quality improvement teams; consults with staff, providers and other departments as needed.
  • Manages staffing patterns and provides direction, training, and guidance to staff. Serves as a resource to providers. Coordinates care delivery with the guidance of providers.

We’re also hiring CARDIAC CATH LAB REGISTERED NURSES to provide kind-hearted care to our patients and their families. Responsibilities include: 

  • Performs nursing functions of a Cardiac Cath Lab that also performs Electrophysiology and Endovascular procedures.
  • Provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care
  • Educates patients and their families about healthy practices and cardiac treatment modalities
  • Assures continuity of care as well as coordinates care across settings and among caregivers
  • Uses the nursing process to provide and plan care (i.e. assessment, nurse diagnosis, planning and coordination, implementation, and evaluation).

Job Requirement

To be considered for the Cardiac Cath Lab Leader/Manager position, you must have:

  • Five years Cath/EP lab experience
  • Management experience
  • Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing)

Current BLS and ACLS certification

To be considered for the Cardiac Cath Lab RN  position, you must have:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing - BSN is strongly preferred
  • One or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse - Cath or EP lab experience strongly preferred
  • Current Georgia RN license
  • Current AHA/BLS certification
