Job Description

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare's robust Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) lab is looking for a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to drive exceptional evidenced-based patient care practices in our state-of-the-art EP labs.

We are the first and only Accredited Atrial Fibrillation program in the North Florida and South Georgia region. As the is the oldest, largest and most advanced electrophysiology program in the Big Bend region, our labs provide the latest diagnostic and interventional technologies available in electrophysiology, including 3D echo, mapping, a full range of ablative therapies and CRM technologies, and laser lead revision.  Through our Heart & Vascular Center, we provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary ambulatory-to-acute model for complex arrhythmia management. 

The Cardiovascular Technician will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology procedures.   They provide the highest quality of patient care and safety during the patients' stay in the Electrophysiology Lab.  She/He will implement the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital, nursing services, and the Electrophysiology Lab.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology, Radiology Technology or Paramedic program
  • We strongly prefer one (1) year of job related experience. 
  • BLS Certification is required.  (Radiology Technology and Paramedic degree requires Florida License)
