Position Description:


Chester County Hospital has an excellent opportunity in our Cardiology unit for a Cardiac Cath Tech to support the current staff by assisting with initial patient assessment/primary interview and preparing patients for invasive procedures.


The Cardiac Cath Tech will also analyze hemodynamics; interpret ECGs; record procedural events; monitor events/conditions of patients, notifying medical staff of significant changes; conduct QC for invasive and other procedures within the department; and perform other duties as needed.


Chester County Hospital’s cardiology unit is ranked 5th in the region and 9th in the state by US News and World Report with accreditation as a chest pain center and ACE. With newly renovated state of the art rooms and a new Robotic GE Discovery imaging system with advanced EVAR and Peripheral software, this system and software package is a first in the region.




* Associate’s in Cardiovascular Technology/Allied Health OR 2+ yrs related clinical experience within the cardiology field

* 1+ yrs of Cardiac Cath/EP Lab experience preferred

* CPR and ACLS certifications

* RCIS or ARRT within 12 months of hire
