We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Newton Medical Center to work day shift, including on-call and weekends as required by the department.


  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
  • Assist physicians with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Administer post-recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal]


  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License; BSN Preferred
  • BLS Required & ACLS Required; CCRN Preferred
  • Cath Lab experience
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and computer skills

Once hired you must attend educational in-services and training as required at MMC Cath Lab, adhere to on-call policy requirements, and respond to emergency per unit policy.
