The Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner Boswell supports 24 Diagnostic/Interventional cardiologists and performs inpatient/outpatient diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures. The facility currently offers 2 procedural labs and a 9 bed Pre-Admit/Post Procedure Recovery area. Another procedural lab and 7 more recovery beds will be added with the new cardiovascular center set to open in late November.

Orientation and onboarding to this highly technical and specialized department is provided by an experienced Cath lab RN preceptor. There is also opportunity to attend Banner Health’s Cardiac Cath Lab Academy.
Assignments include circulating and scrubbing cardiac and peripheral procedures, in addition to admission and recovery of patients. Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Mon.-Fri., 6:30am-5:00pm. There is also 24/7 on-call coverage, for weeknights, weekends, and holidays, for urgent and emergent procedures. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.

*$5,000.00 Sign-on incentive for RNs with a minimum of 12 months Cath Lab experience; requires a 1-year commitment.
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations
